Here I've used a pretty flower button (also a Mollie Makes freebie) and some embroidery thread.
Super easy, this "Thank you" was cut from an old card I'd received.
Ooo, I went a bit mad here and added a message, button AND thread!
There's a little but of glitter round this greeting, just to mix things up a bit.
This paper is too cute to need anything else!
Such fabulous and simple ideas - so refreshingly achievable for all ages and abilities! Brilliant x
ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline, I really enjoyed keeping it simple this time. Glad you like them :-)
DeleteI've never thought of saving my old cards to recycle into new ones! I've saved them, just not reused. Next scrapbooking session I'm dragging out that box, thanks for the idea and sharing it at Designing You!
ReplyDeleteI've been cutting up old cards to turn into new ones since I was little! Hopefully they are a little bit better nowadays (cut straight, glued on straight etc!) waste not want not!!!
DeleteYou have made such pretty cards!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so pretty, I normally give people cards that are prints after my paintings or I buy from other artists, but I would like to create something different. Thank you for the inspiration :).
ReplyDeleteSometimes less is more and these cards are fantastic
ReplyDeleteLovely idea Julie and with cards becoming so ridiculously expensive now it's so much better to make your own and add that unique handmade touch
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas for lovely inexpensive cards.
