This is a great re-fashion idea. Such pretty colours too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline, I was looking for a summery pastel t-shirt and this one jumped out at me in the charity shop.
DeleteWhat a great idea! It looks great 😊
ReplyDeleteThank you Caroline, it turned out pretty much how i had seen it in my head before I started which is always a good sign!
DeleteYou are so good at these refashions - so clever but simple. Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo, it is so simple though that I hesitate to call it a refashion, more or a tweak really!
DeleteThat looks fabulous x
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you Jude, glad you like it.
DeleteVery cute idea! I have a shirt where the lace ripped so I may have to repurpose the good lacey parts and create something crafty with it. Great inspiration! Visiting from Saturday Sharefest.
ReplyDeleteSounds like an excellent plan.
DeleteI love it! I will definitely give it a go :).
ReplyDeleteGreat, don't forget to let us all see it if you do.
DeleteWhat a great idea. Really effective.
ReplyDeleteThanks, it was so easy but it did turn out just as I hoped in my head. That doesn't always happen!
DeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding your clever T-shirt refresh to TADA this week. You have my heart with the tutorial both ways of sewing. Plus you look darling in your outfit.
Happy Creating,
Karen Marie
Thanks Marie, I'm not sure darling is how I would describe my look but I do appreciate you saying so!
DeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteYou must have been reading my mind. I want to give a few t-shirts some pizzazz. Thanks for sharing your project with TADA.
Happy Creating,
Karen Marie
I love the idea of giving t-shirts pizzazz! I hope you refashioning goes well.
DeleteWhat a lovely idea Julie and blue and white is so classic
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol, it's a good combo isn't it?
DeleteVery nice :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute and a great way to update your wardrobe. Thank you for sharing on Merry Monday! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteKim
Thanks Kim, and thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI love this idea! It really made your tee pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie, glad you like it.
DeleteSew cute and sew simple!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, thanks Lori.
DeleteJulia it looks great! And such a simple refashion even I can make it! Now keep the tea away from those gorgeous while jeans! Miss Nonchalant!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, check me out, chillin' in the garden!
DeleteI am always so nervous when I wear these jeans, I've had them about 10 years and have only had to spot bleach them a couple of times, but it always a bit stressy.
You could easily do this with your mad creative skills Mary!
What a great refashion and so easy! I see great possibilities for this technique. My daughter has a few shirts I may try. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSo many possibilities, you could try several different designs if you have old t shirts you want to make over.
DeleteI Love this simply refashion
ReplyDeletethank you julie
